Cancellation Policy

1. Right of withdrawal

European and UK law generally provide for a right of withdrawal from software purchases. However, this right of withdrawal may be excluded for packaged software that has been opened and for digitally delivered content once it has been made available to the end user, and generally this right will also be excluded in such cases. If you enter into a transaction with Arematics, the statutory right of withdrawal ends 14 days after the purchase or at the moment you download the content and services for the first time (whichever is earlier).

As a retailer, we are obliged to inform you about the right of withdrawal and to use specific legal terms. In the event of deviations from our more informal wording, the following provisions for consumers shall apply.

2. Right of revocation

This is a translation of the Cancellation Policy provided for information purposes only. Only the original declaration, which is available in German, is legally valid.

As a user resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, you have the right to withdraw from any purchase made on Arematics without giving any reason.

For all digital content purchased online, by making payment you agree that the withdrawal period ends 14 days after the purchase of the digital content or the first download of the content (whichever is earlier).

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Arematics UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Vennhauser Allee 198C, 40627 Düsseldorf, E-Mail: [email protected]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You can use the attached sample withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory. You can also electronically complete and submit the sample withdrawal form or another clear declaration on our website (https://arematics.com/de/support/mail). If you make use of this option, we will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt of such a withdrawal (e.g. by e-mail).
